Winter is on its way and we want to take a moment to remind you of our procedures when weather - or any other unexpected event - disrupts school or bus schedules.

Early Announcements
We know families need to be able to plan for their day, so we do our very best to announce any changes to schedules or bus routes by 6 a.m. at the latest.

Lots of Communication
If there is a change to a bus route or school schedule, we will communicate in many different ways.

• ParentSquare message (by your preferred notification method) or Smart Alert (text message/voice call)
• Pop-up on our website at THIS LINK
• Post on @ChehalisSchoolDistrict on Facebook or chehalisschools on Instagram
• A listing on FlashAlert, available at THIS LINK or under "Popular Links" on our website

Know Your Routes
Our buses may occasionally run on Snow Routes, which means winter weather conditions have changed pick up or drop off points for some of our bus routes. Snow Routes for 2025-2026 can be found on our transportation page at THIS LINK, on the attached documents or under "Popular Links" on our website. If your student rides a bus, please make yourself familiar with their snow routes (both AM and PM).
