Chehalis Middle School Artwork Featured at Puyallup Spring Fair

Posted Date: 03/31/26 (05:00 PM)

If you're heading to the Spring Fair in Puyallup this year, make sure you keep an eye out for some artwork made by students from Justin Williams’ advanced art class at Chehalis Middle School. About 24 of William's students submitted artwork for the Puyallup Spring Fair’s art section and more than 40 pieces were accepted for the show. You can take a look at more examples of these talented students' artwork at THIS LINK

Mr. Williams said these pieces are representative of the art portfolios each of his advanced art students have been creating since the beginning of the school year. Assignments in this class are fairly loose, with Mr. Williams preferring to allow students to create art that is personalized and unique. Some of this year's art explorations have included: using recycled materials; traditional ink paintings from Japan; Linocuts; acrylic painting; silver Sharpie on black paper drawing; watercolor; graphite drawing; collage; digital artwork; and incorporating stylistic elements from an artist of their choice.

The Puyallup Spring Fair runs April 10-12 and April 17-19 at the fairgrounds in Puyallup. For more information about the fair or how to attend, CLICK HERE.
